Amazing view of the lake from our room. The lounge area was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchen. The owners provided helpful local recommendations for attractions. The swimming pools were perfect for both kids and adults. The entire resort was clean and tidy. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

There was only a couple of things that were a little off. We had a little spa bath but the jets didnt work and we had a trail of ants in our bathroom at one stage. Either were not really a problem at all.

Room stunk of cigarette smoke after requesting non smoking and double room came with two single beds pushed together which is unacceptable.

This hotel was an incredible find! The location was spot-on, right next to the lake and in the centre of the complex. We had everything we needed nearby and it made exploring all the main areas of the city so easy. The rooms were updated and clean, and the addition of Netflix kept the kids entertained. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious! We loved the attention to detail and the value for money this hotel offered.

Couldn't find anything to complain about, everything was perfect!

Our apartment had a view of Lake Taupo and the sunset one night was fantastic. One good restaruant close by, Ploughman Inn, need a car otherwise. Try Portofino. The apartment needs a proper heater instead of a blow heater which turns itself on all night. Shower is average, beds are average. We ended up sleeping in separate rooms. The beds did have plenty of bedding and electric blankets. Overall for price quite reasonable.

The resort Owner/Manager/Receptionist was great, she was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Her knowledge of the region was extensive which was useful as we were from out of town. the facilties were of a high standard and the view from your balcony overlooking Lake Taupo was breath taking. Throughly enjoyed our stay there and will definitely stay again if we are in that region. Overall 10 out of 10.

The hotel was great value for money, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, being right next to the lake and just opposite the lake. The rooms were spacious and had easy access to the pools. The kitchen facilities were convenient and allowed us to prepare meals. The staff were helpful and pleasant, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Cold. Heating inadequate. Wall heater very noisy. No electric blankets on small beds. No spare blankets. Needs a good paint and decorate as decor very outdated. Kitchen drawer stiff and not closing properly. Light switches difficult to find. Dining chairs uncomfortable and falling apart. Lounge suite not positioned for easy television viewing. Access not adequate for those who have mobility problems - no hand rail and stairs extremely slippery when wet.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, with everything we needed right at the centre of the complex. The hotel was situated near all the main areas to visit and it was right next to the beautiful lake. The service was top-notch, with excellent room service, housekeeping, and laundry facilities. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even providing a free airport shuttle. The room amenities were great, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and a comfortable sitting area. We loved the terrace and dining table outside, where we could enjoy the patio and garden furniture. The hotel even provided us with free toiletries, cookware, an electric kettle, and electric blankets. The television and telephone in the room were modern and the carpeted floor added a cozy touch. We also appreciated the option of dining in-room for breakfast and the picnic area with tables for outdoor dining. The staff made sure our needs were met and there was a wonderful culture of customer service.

Website we booked our rooms through didn't allow us to book in more then 2 people although it was a 2 bedroom unit with 4 beds. Would have like to know the cost when booking for four people.
